Monica Livorsi, singer/songwriter, is a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis with a Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration Music. Active in various parts of the Twin Cities music community, Monica sings in the choral ensemble Magnum Chorum, leads Wednesday night worship music here at Mount Calvary and can even be seen on occasion at 318 Café performing cover songs as well as her original music. With a classical music background but a soul for contemporary singing, Monica continues to explore different styles of singing to become a versatile singer and better understand the many aspects of the voice. She believes the foundational elements of singing can be used for all genres and encourages experimentation for singers to discover new intricacies of their voice. Each voice is unique and suited to different types of music, but all can benefit from a firm foundation of breath support, tension release, and acoustic placement.
